Once you log into the community website, you’ll notice that there are several features: Welcome video, community poll, community news, recent discussions, module pages, resources, and my account. These features are described in detail below.
Welcome video – The welcome video consists of a short clip from Kim Flachmann encouraging you to use the resources on the website. The video is available in three formats: QuickTime, Real Video, and Windows Video. To play the video, select the icon of the video format that you’d like to view.
Community poll – This monthly poll provides a way for you to respond to a brief question in an anonymous way. The poll will contain a different question each month. To participate, simply click the button next to your answer and click the “Submit Response” button. You will then be able to view up-to-date results of the poll.
Community news – The community news section contains a brief list of the latest news and events related to the ERWC materials and training sessions. News events will be updated periodically by the ERWC Task Force. To view all of the news items, click the “News” tab at the top of the page.
Recent discussions – The recent discussion list shows the last 10 messages that have been posted to the community discussion boards. This feature allows you to quickly browse recent activity on the site. To view a message, click on the title of the message. Please note that each module has its own dedicated discussion board, and that a separate discussion board has been created for general topics. For information about posting messages, please consult to the Discussion Boards Help section.
Module pages – The ERWC modules can be found by clicking the "Modules" tab at the top of the page. In addition to listing all of the modules, this page provides access to the introductory materials and assignment template included in your binder. To access the latest module materials, click on the desired module title on the left side of the "Modules" page. Each module has a dedicated page with a description, copies of the latest documents, and quick access to its discussion boards. The student and teacher assignment templates are available in both PDF and Word format for added convenience. Please note that only materials for which copyright clearances have been secured are available on this website.
My account – In the upper right corner you’ll notice a link labeled "My Account". This feature allows you to change your username and password. By clicking the “Edit Profile” link at the bottom of the page, you can edit your personal information as needed.
